Nights Out and Such..
These are just some pictures of Friday and Saturday night! Friday was 'Inpromptu', which was not actually that good because it was raided by the cops..... However, Saturday was more successful as we just went frat hopping around campus with some Pi Phi girls!
Illini Vs. Wisconsin
Sooo..... We lost. But I still had a fun Saturday evening! Despite the weather getting really cold! Watching the game, I was freeeeeeeezing.
Fall Fall Fall...
This weekend was LOVELY! The highlight of it being a visit to the Curtis Apple Orchid today! Where my phi pi family and I went apple picking and things!!!

Pledge Mom Day!
Sooo... Today I found out who my pledge mom was! The wonderful Raena! I also have a twin; Dakota. I know a lot of my family reading this will not have a clue what any of this means, but it is very important in the sorority life!!!!!
Today when we got to the house, we all had to find our names taped somewhere on the wall. By our names was a peice of 'yarn' (wool) and everybodys was like knotted together and all over the place, but we had to basically find the end of our peice of wool to find our mom! It was so difficult considering the wool was around three different floors! But once I met my mom and twin, we hung out for a while and then went for ice cream :) It was a lovely evening!!
Anyway, yesterday I went to my first ever 'Cantus; which my Belgian roommate, Emilienne, organized. A cantus is basically a beer drinking, song singing, type gathering thats like really common in Belgium. All I know is that it was so much fun, and that Emilienne can be a fierce dictator when she wants to be!! ahhah :)
This week I have got to speak to my friends from home a lot; especially Julie and Danielle. I missssssss themmmmmmm :(
But, I am super looking forward to this weekend! Block, the game, an Apple Orchad Trip... FUN :)

This Weekend..
This weekend was fun! I didn't do much in the day time of Saturday or Sunday as I've got a bad cold so I just stayed in bed... However, on Friday night I went to a bar, and on saturday I went on a sorority exchange, which is basically just a night out for the new pledges! Here's some pictures:
So, this week is 'pledge mom reveal' week. A pledge mom is basically somebody in your sorority which looks after you, so you spend a lot of time with them! We get gifts every day this week and it is all very exciting! I have no idea who my pledge mom is!!
Exchange!

Spa Day & Friday Film Day!
So, last night my roommate Emilienne organized a spa night for our floor, which involved 'stealing/borrowing' food from our canteen (the ike) to make natural facemasks! They were made out of yogurt, avacado, sugar, honey and cucumber. You should have seen Marie loading up a massive plate of Avacado!!!!!! Anyway, doing the facemasks was funny, but it smelt so bad! It still does; we have not thrown it away yet...
Today, I went for lunch in the Pi Phi house with Marie and Anne; afterwards Marie came to my dorm. Her, me and Ruth (and eventually Berry) watched films. Can you believe that Marie had never watched, or even heard of Bridget Jones!?!?!?!?! CRAZY.

Stupid Things American's Ask British Exchange Students
So, whilst I have been here, I have been asked some very stupid things. Not all Americans are so clueless, but these are my favourite questions I have been asked:
- Do you speak British in England?
- Do you celebrate Christmas?
- Is Scotland east of London?
- Do you have Halloween in England?
- Is Ireland attached to England?
- Are you friends with One Direction?
- Is your money being sent to England or Great Britain?
- Do you know this song (R-Kelly Ignition)
- Have you heard of Lady Gaga?
- Do you have Skype in England?
- Do they have I-Phones in England?
- Are there black people in England?
- Do you watch Big Bang Theory/ Friends at home?
Oh how I love America.

Pi Phi Barn Dance!
Last night was so much fun! And quite eventful! We pre-games at a frat before we went on our bus to the barn! The barn was so nice! Really pretty; it had like loads of fairy lights up and a big bonfire. I actually knew some of the music aswell! I'm going to be blaring country music in my room when I go back home... I had such a fun night with all the Pi Phi Girls!!
We left the barn quite early as all of the younger girls had to get the first bus back. So afterwards we went to a frat party that our friend Neeraj is a member of. We were on the guestlist but as soon as they heard our British accents, they let us in anyway! Oh the perks of being British.... The frat had an 'Island Theme', although we were still in our barn dance attire!
When we left the frat we went to a fast food place called Fat Sandwich. This place is unreal. Their sandwiches have EVERYTHING on! Mine had fries, cheeseballs, chicken nuggests, steak, mustard, etc. I could not even pick it up to eat! But going here was on my bucket list!!! My favourite part of the night had to be when Anna T. started a 'kelly' chant when i was ordering my food; slightly embarassing....

The End of Mid-Terms...
So this week was fun!
On Thursday I went on an exchange with my sorority (which is basically a party at a Frat and a trip to a bar). The theme was high school cliques, so me and a few other girls dressed as Jocks! I looked SO American! Marie lent me her Packers Jersey, and I just looked so clueless when people would ask me about the Packers...
On Friday I had exams, which could of been better... but I'm glad they're over! I spent the afternoon in bed watching films, including 'Safe Haven'; the addest/scariest film ever. But I would recommend it!! Afterwards, I went out with my roommate and some of the international students; we went to Joes! It was a really good night, which ended in me escorting a rather intoxicated Ruth home!
Today I have literally done nothing; just lazed around, I watched the Liverpool game, went for lunch, watched gossip girl. But my day was made when I recieved 3 letters from home! Including a letter and postcard off my dad, and a letter from my Auntie Lynn. I've never been so happy to get post! I really appreciated it :)
Tonight is the annual Pi Phi barndance! I am super excited to go, and get dressed up all 'cowboy' again!!!
Here is some photos taken this week:
